| We've unpacked the big blue pots and they're ready to receive fish, fountain and flower respectively. This is a big time for lavender, but you can already see hints of the California poppies that are our main summer crop. The blue flowers at the upper left are ceanothus, sometimes called "wild lilac" or "California lilac." The "regular" lilacs beyond them are also still in full bloom. |
