“No Kings” III in Seattle

A man and two women, two of them carrying hand-made signs, walk toward us.

On March 28, 2026, crowds gathered again at Cal Anderson Park on Seattle’s Capitol Hill to protest the actions of the Trump administration.

There were as many as a hundred thousand, and after some oratory many marched downtown to Seattle Center. Our local Sinclair television station focused more on the traffic disruption than on the politics.

This time I skipped the walk up and down the hill and met them at the Center, where there were booths representing several non-profits and signs for meeting points for people from a number of different neighborhoods. The weather was especially nice early on, encouraging people to hang around.

Street theater highlighted some popular themes:

Clown-like figures accompany an orange-haired man wearing a crown.
More extensive reporting is available for previous “No Kings” demonstrations:  October 2025 and February 2026.
